Katana Calhoun — Founder & Principal Consultant, Tannee’s, a human resource consulting firm dedicated to helping businesses cultivate compliant, people-centered workplaces. With over a decade of HR experience, Katana is recognized for her ability to bring clarity and strategy to complex people operations.

 

She is a proud Texas A&M University alumna, where she built the foundation for her career in organizational development and strategic HR leadership. Katana is also Project Management Certified, giving her a distinct edge in executing HR initiatives with structure, scalability, and measurable outcomes. She holds the HR Department of One (HR DOO) Certification, equipping her to support lean HR teams and business leaders with agile, end-to-end solutions. Whether working alongside internal staff or acting as an external extension of the HR function, Katana delivers services that are both strategic and scalable.

 

Throughout her career, Katana has led initiatives in benefits administration, policy development, employee engagement, and HR systems implementation across nonprofit and corporate environments.
